    The First Step: A Few Questions
    If you are interested please consider the following questions:
    • Do you have children’s theater experience?
    • Is your community large enough to support a CYT program (usually 50,000 or more population)?
    • Do you know at least 50 local families with children who are interested in being involved with CYT?
    • Do you know at least 5 community leaders who would be willing to sit on your CYT Board of Directors?
    If you can answer “yes” to all of the above, consider bringing CYT to your community!

    The Second Step: Let us know your interest
    Talk to us. We would like to know the basics, so please fill out the Preliminary Information Application

    The Third Step: Please be patient!
    We are in the process of updating our application process. Please be patient as we continue to improve CYT.

    CYT-USA has over 19 CYT programs, in 15 different states, operating in over 40 different venues. CYT-USA has the constant support of nearly 30 years of consistent children’s theater experience from CYT Headquarters in the San Diego area. Each program is a 501(c)(3) educational, non-profit organization, headed by an Artistic Director and Managing Staff, and is overseen by its own Board of Directors. Each program is solely responsible for the welfare of its own program.
